[Stormy Days]Prologue

"And that will be $49.99 thanks" the shop assistant barely looks interested in what I'm buying, did he just wake up from a nap or something?

I rolled up the poster and carefully placed the elastic band over it. I had finally gotten my hands on a limited edition Super Junior signed poster. My Kyuhyun actually wrote on it! He touched it! Without controlling my actions or actually knowing what I'm doing I hugged the poster to my chest and sighed deeply, life is good indeed.

"Miss, you're blocking the entrance, please move out of the way."  the shop assistant's lazy voice interrupted my hazy trance, I apologised quickly and dashed out of the shop.

I absolutely, completely ADORE Super Junior, I've been a loyal fan since their debut (and I was what? 8 years old back then?). And when Kyuhyun had been introduced as a new member you could say it had been love at first sight for me. And now, they've just released their seventh studio album and I was of course the first one to buy it, plus the poster I've just bought, my wallet is empty, but I'm happy.

"Mum! Look!" was the first thing I screamed when I entered the house waving the poster in my hands. I saw her cooking in the kitchen. My mum is a housewife armed with typical housewife traits. I wish I looked more like her than dad, because then I'd have shiny auburn hair, paler complexion sharper features. Instead I look like a miniature version of my absent father, who really isn't attractive for an asian guy. Oh, and he's adopted, but that's a story for another day.

"Mum...? Aren't you gonna see what your precious daughter bought with her life savings?" I called out again, she put down the spatula and sighed.

Mum hadn't been too supportive of my love for the boy band so she rolled her eyes and resumed cooking dinner.

"If that wasn't bought with your own cash, I would have thrown you out of the house" she replied "such a waste of money too..."

"Well, you just don't understand the love I have for my beloved Kyuhyun!" I pouted before I unrolled my newfound treasure and stared at Kyuhyun's oh-so-perfect handwriting appreciatively.

Logging onto Soompi that night, the first thing I did was to of course check for any updates on the band's activities... just in case I miss any competitions involving my love.

"Cana! Get off the computer and come down for dinner!" I heard mum call from the dining room. I sniffed around, the aroma resembled rice and some sort of curry, probably.

My meals would be much better with Kyuhyun around.

[Stormy Days]Introduction

'Stormy Days' is along the lines of an everyday K-pop fanfic, except it's a fictional romance between a girl too oblivious for her own good and a rookie star in the K-pop industry. I try to experiment with first-person dialogue and switched perspectives, don't forget the cliches.

Main Characters:

Cana Rodriguez- Your average 16-year old teenage K-Pop fangirl. At first she loved Super Junior's Kyuhyun but when H.M.Y debuted her interests swayed. She isn't particularly attractive(there are half-bloods out there that just don't inherit the right genes), nor is she particularly smart or inquisitive. She often has meaningless internal monologues with herself.

Jae ki Lee (Yuu)- Witty, sarcastic and not exactly the most charming guy in town, the facade Jaeki put on for his fans often earned him the title 'Ace of H.M.Y'. Being the maknae of his group he often gets teased and slaved around by his hyungs. He finds Cana's stupidity cute and will not hesitate to display affection for her in public, much to the latter's annoyance.

Sho Wang- With his hair dyed the colour of hay and 2 piercings on each ear Sho really gives off the delinquent/asian vibe. In reality he is absolutely white-washed and hates the Hallyu culture, despite speaking Korean fluently.. Being Cana's best friend and considering the nature of this story he was supposed to develop a crush on her, but he doesn't, he's too busy dissing her hobbies and acting as a protective brother.

Supporting Characters:

Hack- The leader and main rapper of  H.M.Y. Your average silent-strong type who always takes one for the team.

Ming- Supporting vocal and eldest of H.M.Y. Ming never actually acts his age and addresses people with weird nicknames.

Helen Rodriguez- Devoting mother, cheerful host and permanent housewife, she seems to cope with the fact that her husband rarely comes home quite well.

Stefan Rodriguez- Cana's father rarely comes home as he works overseas as a diplomat. He is adopted, hence despite his Asian heritage he has a hispanic surname.

More to Come!
